Federal Premium Black Cloud FS Steel Shot 12Ga. 3in. 1 1/4oz. #BB - 25 shells

Put more pellets on target with Federal Premium Black Cloud FS Steel in 12 gauge. This 3-inch load throws 1-1/4 ounces of #BB steel shot at 1,450 fps, which makes it a hard-hitting choice for ducks and geese, and each box holds 25 shells. Federal calls it the best load in waterfowl hunting, and it is built for waterfowlers who want dense, consistent patterns.

Black Cloud FS uses Federal's FliteControl Flex wad, which delivers improved pattern density and consistency through both ported and standard waterfowl chokes. The load is built around FliteStopper steel shot, with about 90 BB pellets in the 1-1/4-ounce payload and a pellet density of 8 g/cc. The steel is lead-free, so it is approved for waterfowl hunting.

Federal's Catalyst lead-free primer and a clean-burning, temperature-stable propellant significantly decrease residue in the barrel, so the load shoots cleanly and consistently from the first cold-morning shot to the last. It is made in the USA. #BB is a good choice for geese and larger ducks at typical decoy-spread ranges. For smaller ducks or closer shots, ask us about the same load in smaller shot sizes, such as #2 and #3.

Use only in shotguns and chokes rated for steel shot, and check that your gun's chamber accepts 3-inch shells. Stop by the store with questions, and our staff can help you match a load and choke to your hunt.
