CobraTec Knives

Native Outdoors offers a great selection of Cobratec Automatic Knives in our store in Royse City, TX, just east of Dallas. We also ship to all states where automatic knives are legal.

Cobratec is a small, family-owned business with a passion for serving our nation's first responders and the hard-working men and women of our country by providing an exceptional product and even better service. Every Cobratec knife is designed and built in the USA, with a focus on reliable, fast-deploying blades that hold up to daily carry and hard use.

Cobratec OTF Knives

Cobratec is best known for its OTF (out-the-front) automatic knives — the blade deploys straight out of the front of the handle at the push of a button, rather than swinging open like a traditional folder. Cobratec OTFs are available in both single-action and double-action configurations, giving you the choice between a simpler mechanism or the convenience of push-button open and close.

Popular Cobratec Series

Native Outdoors carries a range of Cobratec models, including the Small and Medium OTF series, tactical and everyday-carry finishes, and a variety of blade styles (drop point, tanto, and dagger) to fit different needs — whether you want a compact backup blade or a full-size OTF for daily carry.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What does OTF mean?
A: OTF stands for "out-the-front" — the blade extends straight out of the front of the handle rather than pivoting open like a folding knife.

Q: Are Cobratec automatic knives legal to ship to me?
A: We ship Cobratec knives to all states where automatic/OTF knives are legal to own. Automatic knife laws vary by state, so check your local regulations before ordering.

Q: Where are Cobratec knives made?
A: Cobratec knives are designed and manufactured in the USA.

Q: What's the difference between single-action and double-action OTF knives?
A: A single-action OTF deploys the blade automatically but requires you to manually retract it. A double-action OTF both deploys and retracts the blade at the push of a button.
