Springfield 1911 DS Prodigy AOS Gear-Up Package — 9mm, 5"

Springfield Armory 1911 DS Prodigy 9mm 5in AOS (3) 17+1, (1) 20+1

Get the double-stack 1911 platform that's redefined the category, bundled complete with an optic, extra magazines, and a range bag — the Springfield Armory 1911 DS Prodigy AOS Gear-Up Package delivers everything you need for competition, duty, or serious range work in one purchase.

The Prodigy reconfigures the classic 1911 around a double-stack magazine, with a polymer grip module mounted to a forged carbon steel frame, delivering genuine capacity flexibility between 17+1 and 20+1 depending on which magazine you run. The 5" forged stainless steel match-grade bull barrel, cut with an 11-degree crown, delivers real accuracy, and the Agency Optic System (AOS) gives you secure, direct-mount compatibility for your favorite red dot without needing separate adapter plates.

This Gear-Up Package ships with a factory-installed Viridian RFX11 green dot optic, so you're not left sourcing and zeroing an optic separately. Fiber optic front and serrated black rear sights provide a reliable backup sight picture whenever you're not running the dot. The textured polymer grip and ambidextrous thumb safety give you genuine control and comfort during recoil, and the durable black Cerakote finish on the slide and frame delivers real corrosion resistance for regular use.

This package includes 4 total magazines — three 17-round and one 20-round — along with a Springfield range bag for organized transport and storage. Whether you're stepping up to a double-stack 1911 for competition, want genuine capacity in a proven platform, or need a complete optics-equipped package rather than piecing components together separately, the Prodigy AOS Gear-Up Package delivers real 1911 heritage with modern capacity and performance.
