Springfield Armory Kuna Tri-Lug 9mm Pistol – KN9069BTL

Springfield Armory Kuna Tri-Lug 9mm Pistol 6in Barrel 30+1 M-Lok Handguard

The Springfield Armory Kuna Tri-Lug 9mm Pistol (KN9069BTL) is the leanest, most compact way to put a 3-lug suppressor on Springfield's award-winning roller-delayed platform. Introduced in August 2026, it pairs the Kuna's soft-shooting action with an integrated tri-lug barrel, the fast, tool-free mounting interface that made HK's roller-delayed subguns a benchmark. With no brace installed, it weighs just 4 lbs 10 oz and measures 15.5 inches, a clean, lightweight starting point for building the suppressed 9mm you actually want.

Tool-Free Suppressor Mounting

The 6-inch barrel is cold radial hammer forged, finished in Melonite and rifled 1:10, with three lugs machined directly into the muzzle. A compatible suppressor or muzzle device locks on with a push and a twist and comes off just as fast. There are no threads to foul with carbon, no wrenches, and no worrying about a can backing off mid-string. If you run one 3-lug can across several hosts, the Kuna Tri-Lug lets you swap it in seconds.

A Proven Suppressor Host

Roller-delayed actions have long been favored for suppressed 9mm because they cycle smoothly and keep recoil and muzzle flip in check. The Kuna's locking roller delays bolt travel without a heavy bolt or gas system, which keeps the gun light and the shooting experience smooth whether it's running quiet or not.

Build It Your Way

The receiver end plate has an integrated Picatinny rail, so you can mount the stabilizing brace of your choice or keep the Kuna as trim as possible. The monolithic aluminum upper with Type III hardcoat anodizing offers integral M-LOK slots for a weapon light or laser, and hybrid flip-up metal sights come standard for use with or without an optic.

Ambidextrous by Design

Left- or right-handed, the Kuna runs the same. The safety, magazine release and bolt release are all ambidextrous, and the reversible, non-reciprocating charging handle folds out of the way. An AR-pattern grip with Adaptive Grip Texture and a storage compartment, a flat-faced aluminum trigger with a short, audible reset, and two 30-round magazines complete the package.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between the Kuna KN9069BTL and the KN9069BTL-FSA?

Both use the same roller-delayed action and integrated tri-lug barrel. The KN9069BTL has a bare Picatinny end plate with no brace installed, weighing 4 lbs 10 oz at 15.5 inches. The KN9069BTL-FSA adds a factory-installed Strike Industries FSA folding brace.

Can I add a brace to the Kuna Tri-Lug KN9069BTL?

Yes. The receiver end plate has an integrated Picatinny rail designed for attaching a stabilizing brace.

How does the tri-lug mount attach a suppressor?

Three lugs are machined into the muzzle. A suppressor or muzzle device with a compatible 3-lug mount pushes onto the barrel and twists to lock, with no tools or threads required.

Is the Kuna Tri-Lug threaded 1/2x28?

The Kuna Tri-Lug uses an integrated tri-lug muzzle interface for compatible 3-lug suppressors and muzzle devices. For a 1/2x28 threaded barrel, choose the standard Kuna KN9069B.

How much does the Kuna Tri-Lug KN9069BTL weigh?

The Kuna Tri-Lug KN9069BTL weighs 4 lbs 10 oz and has an overall length of 15.5 inches.
