The
X5IR 5.0MP game camera is the latest camera in the
Wildview line. A more intense
flash and shorter time out settings make this a step above previous
TGL models. A new case design with camo wrapping

Wildview TGL5IRNXTS1
Wildview TGL5 (camo) is a good
value for under $100. Measuring in at 7″ x
5″ x2″ making it a small to medium sized camera
and is about as simple as it gets. Set the date/time and
flip a few switches and you will be ready to go. The
Wildview TGL5 detection and trigger speed is good for a $100
camera but the recovery time is a bit slow. Please review
the sample pictures. As you will see the Wildview TGL5 takes
excellent daytime pictures ranking this camera near the top
for picture clarity and color. In fact, the color
and clarity is so good we would put their pictures near the
top of all trail cameras! The IR Flash pictures (night) are
adequate with some movement blur. Battery life is week but
can be improved with the Stealth Cam 12v battery box (model
STC 12VBB) or a 12 volt battery and cable (model STC CBL).

Wildview TGLX8IR

new 8.0 MP version, probably the easiest game camera to use,
has some additional features that make it a contender in the
$100 class. An additional 11 IR emitters (bulbs) give

range of about 50 feet. IR range control allows you to
adjust the IR flash brightness which can directly affect

Customer Review of the Moultrie M80XD Scounting Camera
Setup: The directions were easy to follow. With just a little patience, you can be up and going in no time. Because of the size of cameras today, I removed the camera from the tree when I changed out the SD card. It was much easier to see standing up then kneeling. A Gator strap is provided for securing to the tree, I liked this more than a bungee.
Picture Quality. When I had the camera set for Trail cam, the quality of the pictures were very good. The daytime pictures were surprisingly good, as you can see. There is a choice for quality for the pictures as well as the video. The “flash”, infrared lit up the woods at least 50 foot. The video at night was good also. There is a selection for night flash where it speeds up the shutter speed to help with washout when the animal moves. A nice feature. The daytime video was very good. When the animal was close, the better the video. Generally the same for day/night video.

Stealth Cam Archer's Choice Game Camera
This
camera gets kudos on just about everything except battery
life. If you add the Stealth Cam External Battery Kit,
you might just have a winner. This camera takes great
quality pictures in 3, 5 or 8MP and has a time lapse that
can run 24 hours, which will probably run your batteries
down in one night (but is the only camera on the market that
offers a time lapse at night). Adding an external
battery kit might resolve the battery issue if time lapse at
night is needed. Make sure you are
using 3MP images in time lapse or you will fill up your card
in a matter of hours. This camera is capable of
utilizing a 16GB card, but only some brands of 16GB cards
work (See chart in manual for more info).

The Moultrie M100 Scouting Camera measuring in at a tiny 5″ x 4” making
it one of the smallest and most durable trail cameras on the market.
Setup is a breeze. The 2″ internal viewing screen allows the user to
view taken pictures and even assist in setting up the camera buying
allowing the user to view a screen shot of the area in front of the
camera. The Moultrie M100 detection and trigger speed are good but the
recovery time is a little slow. Please review the sample pictures. As
you will see the Moultrie M100 takes quality daytime pictures that are
bright, clear and full of color. The M100 has a HUGR IR Flash pictures
(night) but the subjects do tend to be blurry if moving. Battery life is
week but can be improved with the Moultrie Power Panel (model MFH-CPP )
or a 12 volt battery and cable. Bonus! The Moultrie M-100 can be used
for time lapse (taking pictures at different time intervals regardless

“Well I had a lot of pics (see below) over the last week and so far I really like this camera. I’m not a video guy so won’t test that aspect but so far this is what I have observed:
I believe the trigger time of 0.6 sec is going to be very close to what is advertised. I came up with about 0.7 sec when I tested it…that’s assuming I did it correctly but it was very repeatable. I will be very interested to see what kind of numbers
ChasinGame gets.
I had 700+ pics and had NO whiteouts during transition…thank God as this has been a big frustration with many of my cams. Daytime colors are a little dark as I find myself adjusting brightness and contrast.

The Bushnell Trophy Cam Black camera is the top of the line for Bushnell. This $300 camera has some extra features that its little brother (119466C) does not have.
For starters the 119467C has a built-in viewing monitor. This is by far the biggest feature over the 119466C. The 119467C also boasts HD Video at 1920×1080 resolution where the 116466C only has 1280×720 resolution. The image stamp on the 119467 also includes the Temp and Moon phase on the images instead of just the Time and Date.

Cuddeback Attack IR Game Camera
The Cuddeback Attack IR is the latest
camera from Cuddeback. The #1 issue with this camera is that it just does not capture as many pictures as other cameras. This is due to their "Centered Subject Technology" which means that the animal will only trigger the camera if it is in the center of the frame, giving this camera a very narrow PIR detection zone. This is not a bad thing if you place the camera on a feeder, or on a trail where the subject must walk directly in front of the camera. This might not be a good camera to place where the deer can walk all around the camera and not necessarily in front of the camera.
