Floating Turtle Trap

Works well without the use of bait.  Also legal in states where sinking traps are illegal.

Some Suggestions to help catch more turtles. 
1. Remove as many extra logs and such from around the pond, leaving only the trap    
    as an area for the turtle to sunbath. 
2. Make sure the bottom of the flippers are in the water.
3. The trap should be placed out near the middle of the pond, or near a feeder.
4. Make sure the ropes that are securing the trap are not interfering with the flippers.
    The rope can catch the edge of a flipper, causing it to not function.
5. Customers generally tend to catch more turtles in 80+ degree temps.
